PIVAB WELD

The Pivab Weld is a ventilation solution that provides an optimal working environment at each workstation. The big advantage with Pivab Weld is that you get an optimal workplace to perform sheet metal work and welding, without having to move the object in question. Thus, reducing your lead times. The adequate airflow in the Pivab Weld ensures a safe and clean working environment.

MODES OF OPERATION

BASIC

In this operating case, the ventilation goes on basic ventilation and you have access to 1 phase, compressed air, vacuum cleaner. The exhaust air is extracted from the rear wall of the workplace

WELD

In this operating case the ventilation is at full speed and you have access to 1 phase, 16 amp, 32 amp, compressed air and vacuum cleaner. In this case, the exhaust air is extracted to the ceiling due to during welding, the gases are hot and light.

PREP

In this operating case, the ventilation at full speed only works the air to the ground primer (special outlet for the syringe) and vacuum cleaner. In this case, the exhaust air is sucked out into the rear wall along the floor as the air is heavier.

CHASSIS

The chassis is built in panel sections that are significant with Pivab and both the inside and outside of the chassis are white. The structure itself is a self supporting structure so no reinforcements are needed if you want to put a load on the roof e.g. ventilation units. The walls of the chassis are also used as ventilation ducts and the advantage of this is that we do not need extra ventilation ducts outside the workplace.

CURTAIN

In all workplaces, in the front of every station has a motorized roll/up curtain.

LUMINARIES

The lighting consists of ATEX rated luminaires and is integrated into the chassis walls and ceiling. The reflectors in each luminaire have a directional illumination which means that we have no luminaires that protrude from the chassis that can collect dust.

AIR DIRECTION

Each workplace has its own supply and exhaust air. The supply air comes in from the ceiling in the front part and is extracted either in the rear wall or the inner sections of the roof depending on which operating case you are in.

FILTRATION

Pivab filters Dent Weld in 3 steps. On the supply air in the ventilation duct there is the M5 bag filter which filters out any particles coming from outside. In the exhaust air duct is the double filter cabinet, first filtration with M5 bag filter and then another M5 bag filter.

RECYCLING

Recycling takes place with a rotary heat exchanger and the efficiency is 70% - 85%.
